EXAMS ACCESS ARRANGEMENTS

We have a team of highly qualified Exam Access Arrangements Assessors based in Liverpool. We provide comprehensive Exam Access Arrangements services.  We have clients across the UK, including Lincoln, Norwich, the Lake District and Bristol. We recognise the demands that access arrangements place on SENDCos, and we are committed to offering additional support following the completion of assessments.=Learning Assessments will enhance educational outcomes by providing comprehensive learning assessments tailored to each student’s unique needs. I will partner with schools and colleges to evaluate students’ strengths, areas for growth, and deliver detailed reports that empower teachers, parents to support the student’s academic journey.

The cost of one day’s EAA assessments includes:

• a virtual meeting with the SENDCo or equivalent to arrange assessments
• the cost of all assessment materials
• completion of the assessor section of Form 8 (part 2) 
• a follow-up meeting with the SENDCo or equivalent

A Learning Assessment will enhance educational outcomes by providing comprehensive learning assessments tailored to each student’s unique needs. The learning assessment measures and evaluates a student’s strengths and barriers to learning. This involves:

1. Interviews with the student, teacher/s and, if appropriate, the parent/carer.

2. Observations of the student in lesson/s.

3. Formal assessments of the student, including, test of memory, reading comprehension, phonological processing I have access to a wide range of assessment materials.

4. A written report evidencing the student’s strengths and barriers to learning with recommendations and strategies to use.

5. Verbal feedback to all staff at the end of the day.

Dyslexia assessments

We have partnered with Karen Hamlin an exceptional Dyslexia Assessor and Specialist Teacher. Karen can offer dyslexia diagnostic assessments which are accepted for DSA applications.

Karen’s philosophy:

“The importance of education cannot be overstated, however many children do not have the opportunity to reach their full potential due to their educational needs not being met. I am passionate about working with all such children and young people in helping them to reach their full potential.”

Karen holds AMBDA accreditation and a current Assessment Practising Certificate, recognising her as a Specialist in Dyslexia/Specific Learning Difficulties (SpLDs). She is qualified to conduct dyslexia diagnostic assessments (accepted for DSA applications), facilitate exam access arrangements, and deliver specialist teaching programs. In addition, Karen provides training on inclusive teaching strategies that can be applied in all learning environments to support every learner.
